Hi guys, This time around we will be looking into a great, free weather engine for FSX and P3D. It very accurately depicts real weather, much better than default, and sometimes even better than.

I was looking into free weather engines for FSX and saw that FSXWX was recommended so I checked it out. Apparently I need Simconnect, FSUIPC, and a computer programmer's brain to get it to work. I'm really lost here.
What exactly is Simconnect? When I searched for it I found a Simconnect page that asked for a login, but there was no way to register an account. Another page said it was some kind of developing software for FSX but didn't include a download of any kind.

Second, all else failing, is there not a good free weather engine that I can just download, install, and be done with it?
